From creator Bryan Fuller, “Hannibal” stars Mads Mikkelsen as brilliant psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lector, who is working with the FBI and gifted criminal profiler Will Graham, played by Hugh Dancy, to look into the mind of serial killers. Based on Thomas Harris’ best-selling novels, this series is the prequel to the story that began with the feature films “Red Dragon” and “Silence of the Lambs.” The series also stars Laurence Fishburne as Jack Crawford, the head of the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit. Caroline Dhavernas and Hettienne Park also co-star.

Everything is a product of art in this series. The way the human mind thinks, eats and even kills. The dishes cooked by Hannibal actually inspires you to get up and cook the devious dish. (I fell of the couch laughing when Graham brought fish to cook for Hannibal)

And the books… my god the books! I would give anything to sit in that office for months and just read…

The way Graham thinks and tries to adapt to serial killers mind is outrageous. It makes you feel sorrowful yet astonished by his resolutions to solutions. Everything about the series is way off the records. A topnotch series waiting its viewers.

There has been great productions but Hannibal is one of my best series I guess.
Generally I don’t prefer too gruesome series but Hannibal is way different.
But having a cup of coffee under blankets with a loved one is the best way to watch such series. Feeling safe and fearing at the same time is phenomenal. A series that captivates you from the start is worth watching…
